Official rules

The Official Rules page is the house rules for play: free to play, no purchase necessary, play money only, no cash value, 18 or older, and how we settle and correct markets.

Play money, not gambling

This is entertainment only. It is not gambling, betting, or a contest for a prize. The points, prices, shares, and payouts you see are play money. They have no cash value. You cannot withdraw them, trade them, or redeem them for anything.

This is not financial, investment, legal, or betting advice. Do not treat our Confidence Score, the crowd, or anyone's Record as something to stake real money on.

Who can play

You must be 18 or older to use Pretty Predictions or to create an account.

How markets settle

Each market names an official source in that market's rules. We settle from that source. Our settlement decision is final. If we later find we got it wrong, we may correct it.

Your account

We can suspend or close an account that abuses the game — including spam, bots, extra accounts used to game scores, or the behavior we describe in Community conduct. A suspension can be temporary or permanent.

As is

Pretty Predictions is provided as is and as available. We do not promise the site will always be up, that every score or settle will be perfect, or that the game will fit a particular purpose. Features can change.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Pretty Predictions and the people who run it are not liable for any damages that come from using — or not being able to use — the game. That includes lost points, lost time, or anything you do with a pick. This game is free, so if a court finds we owe you anything, that amount is limited to what you paid us: zero.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. If we make a material change, we will note it here. Using the game after an update means you accept the new terms.
